Treatment
We can provide numbing. The treatment can take 30 to 60 minutes depending on how many areas of the face are treated.
Post-Care
Avoid strenuous activities for 24 hours. Ice treated area 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off for swelling. If there is bruising, take Advil and avoid Aspirin. You may also take arnica as advised by your provider.

How quickly will I be able to see the results of a filler treatment?
When you come in for fillers at AMARA, you should be able to see the results from treatment immediately following the procedure. It is common to experience some bruising or swelling but those should resolve within 2 weeks.
What do I need to do before getting dermal fillers at AMARA?
One week before getting dermal fillers at AMARA, we ask that guests avoid taking anti-inflammatories like Ibuprofen or Advil and supplements, including St. John’s Wort and fish oil.
We ask that guests avoid alcohol for 24 hours before their treatment.
What do I need to do after getting dermal fillers?
After receiving dermal fillers in AMARA, guests may use cold compresses to reduce swelling if desired. Guests should avoid heavily touching or massaging the area for at least 6 hours after treatment. Sunbathing should also be avoided until the redness and swelling disappear.
