Prior to your treatment, we will book your complimentary consultation to assess your unique skin needs.
Treatment
If you would like numbing, we’ll provide it. We’ll then conduct the treatment which can take up to 60 minutes.
Post-Care
Avoid strenuous activities for 24 hours. Ice treated area 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off for swelling. If there is bruising, take Advil and avoid Aspirin. You may also take arnica as advised by your provider.

Where can you use Sculptra filler?
Sculptra is an effective filler for treating various areas such as cheeks, temples, chin, jawline, and nasolabial folds. It can correct volume loss, sagging skin and cellulite, too.
How long does a Sculptra appointment at AMARA take?
A Sculptra appointment at AMARA takes roughly 60 minutes to complete. The timing depends on how much Sculptra we’re using and how many places we are injecting. If you request numbing during your appointment, it may extend the time slightly.
Does it hurt to have a Sculptra session at AMARA?
A Sculptra session at AMARA usually does not hurt. Guests do have the option of requesting topical numbing for the procedure if they would like. You might feel pressure at the injection site even if you choose topical numbing, but there shouldn’t be any real discomfort.
Will I need any downtime after my Sculptra appointment?
Most of our guests won’t need any downtime after a Sculptra appointment at AMARA. Occasionally guests may need a couple hours to rest after the procedure.
How many sessions of Sculptra do I need?
The number of Sculptra sessions you require will depend on your ultimate goals. Usually guests choose to have up to three treatment sessions initially.
How should I prepare for a Sculptra session?
There are a few things we ask guests to do before getting treated with Sculptra in AMARA.
• At least 1 week prior to the appointment, please avoid medications that can prolong bleeding, such as aspirin, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen or Advil.
• From 24 to 48 hours prior, please avoid alcohol, fish oil supplements and smoking.
When will I see the results of my Sculptra treatment?
You should be able to see the results of your treatment in 3 to 6 months.
How long does Sculptra last?
Sculptra should last up to 2 years. The duration of Sculptra is influenced by multiple factors, such as age, and the body’s breakdown rate of the injectable.
What do I need to do after Sculptra?
There are a few things we ask guests to do after getting treated with Sculptra in AMARA.
• If you have any bruising after treatment, you may take 5 pellets of Arnica Montana 3 times a day under the tongue until the bruise heals.
• Massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days to help distribute the product evenly.
• Please avoid strenuous activities for 24 hours post-treatment.
• For any swelling, you may apply cold compresses to the area for 10-20 minutes on, and then 10-20 minutes off. Take Advil (or generic ibuprofen), if you experience any pain.
